The company originated as a show put on by Jenaé Plymale as a small project to earn some extra cash and to find a fun new way to market web startups by wearing swag t-shirts and spreading buzz about them with online social media tools.  However, this small project instantly turned into Internet phenomenon, literally overnight.  Picked up and plastered on the front page of one of the Internet's most popular blogs TechCrunch, it was soon both heralded and disputed among countless web logs (blogs), podcasts and major editorial publications worldwide.  Initially Girl in Your Shirt's appeal was mainly captured by web entrepreneurs and much of the startup crowd for introductions on new startups and was seen as a creative marketing tool for companies to be placed into the limelight.  This show, originally hosted by Jenaé Plymale, introduces a daily tech startup while wearing the company swag shirt.

Through further evaluation Jenaé and her partner George Plymale decided to restructure the company to be able to sustain much larger growth and to be able to go further down the rabbit hole of creative experiential marketing, being one of the few companies in the nation that is beating this innovative drum in 2008.  This style of marketing is truly the next generation of marketing and our endeavors at "in Your Shirt", Inc. are pivotal as they combine this real world touch or experience with online metrics and analytics through college girls throughout the nation, and soon to be world.  Today it is possible to reliably run a campaigns that straddle the real and virtual worlds while providing the most bang for the buck for your organization's investment.

Our services cater to:

  • enterprise class companies
  • not-for-profit organizations
  • mid sized companies such as restaurants or others with local vested campaign interest
  • startups that want to rocket a product into public site
  • companies that want to cater directly to college age demographics
  • companies that would like to be more visible to certain demographic subsets at conferences

  • churches that would like to run focused campaigns
  • or any other organization that can think of creative ways to use our services!

Our core offerings that can be leveraged in an unlimited number of creative ways consist of five (5) core services:

Choose a number of college & sorority girls to campaign for you in any state in the nation. You choose the number of days they will campaign for you on campus.

Along with the following, we can immediately mobilize to any campus in the nation to fit your needs.  Just ask!

The girls will:

  • wear your shirt for 1 full college day
  • each will distribute 100 promotional fliers
  • take and submit 5 photos of the day's promotion
  • promote your campaign with their personal Facebook & Twitter status updates
  • you'll also get a showcase video promoted by Jenaé, the original Girl in Your Shirt

- Note:  The video will include all photos and video that are taken during your college campaign. Our girls will be sure to promote this video link and your promotion via Facebook & Twitter.

Campus Girls gives you the opportunity to launch a viral marketing campaign in both the real and virtual world that offers a degree of control and analytics not hitherto experienced.  If there is a university or college that we do not yet represent, please ask us.  We will explore the opportunity quickly and expand our presence to encompass your requested college.

As the Girls in Your Shirt will be sharing the event information on their Facebook accounts, it's important to note that click through rates for status updates and wall posts have been calculated as high as 6.49% as opposed to traditional Facebook advertising that only sees a click through rate of about 0.04%!
